Description
Cissus pseudofuliginea (also called False-Fuliginous Cissus, among many other common names) is a woody, perennial vine with tendrils and small, ovate leaves. It is native to tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia, and is usually found in moist, shady habitats.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Cissus pseudofuliginea are small, white and star-shaped with five petals. The seeds are small, brown and oval-shaped. The seedlings are small and have long, thin stems.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cissus pseudofuliginea is a fast-growing, evergreen climber that can reach up to 10m in height. It can be propagated by stem cuttings or air layering. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures as low as -2°C.
