                            Maoutia ambigua (also called the Ambiguous Maoutia, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Himalayas and China. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a tall, erect stem with small, yellow flowers. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as thickets and forests.
