Description
                        
                            Elatostema megacephalum (also called Large-Headed Elatostema, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as forests, and has large, ovate leaves with long petioles and long, narrow sepals.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Elatostema megacephalum can be propagated by seed or cuttings. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures as low as -5°C (23°F).                        
                     
                                                    
                        Where to Find Elatostema megacephalum
                        
                            Elatostema megacephalum can be found in the tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.
