Description

Sparganium hyperboreum (also called Northern Bur-reed, among many other common names) is a perennial aquatic plant native to the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. It grows in shallow water or in wet soils and can reach up to 1.5 m in height. Its leaves are long and narrow and the flowers are small and white.
