Cultivation and Propagation

Tectaria subrepanda is a tropical fern native to Southeast Asia. It is easy to propagate from spores. Spores should be collected from the underside of the fronds and sown in a moist, sterile medium such as vermiculite or peat moss. Keep the medium moist and in a warm, humid environment. The spores should germinate in 4-6 weeks.

Where to Find Tectaria subrepanda

Tectaria subrepanda can be found in tropical rainforests in Central and South America.
