Hondaella caperata (also called Hondaella caperata, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Hondaellaceae. It is a small, yellow-green plant with a thallus composed of a single layer of cells. It is native to the United States, Mexico, and Central America, where it grows in moist, shady habitats.

Cultivation and Propagation
Hondaella caperata can be propagated by spores, which are released from the sporophyte. The spores can be collected and sown on a suitable substrate, such as a peat-based compost.
