Description

Myricaria prostrata (also called Prostrate Sweetgale, and Prostrate Tamarisk, among many other common names) is a species of shrub in the Myricaceae family. It is native to eastern Asia, including Siberia, China, Japan, and Korea. It typically grows in moist soils, and is often found in wetlands, riverbanks, and along the coast.
