Description
Myricaria laxiflora (also called Loose-Flowered Sweetgale, and Loose-Flowered Tamarisk, among many other common names) is a species of shrub in the Myricaceae family. It is native to eastern Asia, including Siberia, China, Japan, and Korea. It typically grows in moist soils, and is often found in wetlands, riverbanks, and along the coast.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Myricaria laxiflora has small, white flowers and small, black seeds. Seedlings have a single cotyledon and a pair of opposite, oblong-shaped leaves.
