Description

Myricaria albiflora (also called white-flowered sweet-myrtle, white-flowered tamarisk, and white-flowered sweet-gale, among many other common names) is a shrub native to Central Asia and the Himalayas. It is characterized by its small, white, bell-shaped flowers, and its small, oval-shaped leaves. It grows in moist, sandy, and rocky habitats, and is commonly found in alpine regions.
