Description
Chaetomitrium sikkimense (also called 'Sikkim chaetomitrium', among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Pottiaceae. It is found in East Asia, including China, Japan, and Vietnam. It grows in moist, shady places, such as in forests, grasslands, and along streams.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Chaetomitrium sikkimense has small, yellow-green flowers with four petals. Its seeds are small, dark brown and oval-shaped. The seedlings have a single leaf that is tightly curled.
