Description

Pterostyrax hispidus (also called Bristly Pterostyrax, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to Southeast Asia. It has a rounded shape with a dense canopy and is typically 10-15 feet tall, but can reach up to 40 feet in height. It prefers full sun to partial shade and grows in a variety of soils, including clay and sandy soils.
