Description

Homalolepis floribunda (also called 'Giant-flowered Water-willow', among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to the southeastern United States. It grows in wet areas such as swamps, marshes, and along the banks of streams and rivers. It has large, white flowers with four petals and a yellow center. The leaves are long and narrow, and the stems are covered in small hairs.
