                        Description
                        
                            Selago serpentina (also called Selago serpentina, among many other common names) is an annual or perennial herbaceous species native to California. It has a dense, rounded crown and can reach up to 1 meter in height. It is found in dry, open areas, such as chaparral, oak woodlands, and grasslands, at elevations of up to 1000 meters.
