                        Cultivation and Propagation

Selago persimilis is a small, evergreen shrub that grows up to 1 m in height. It is native to South Africa and is found in rocky areas and dry grasslands. It is drought tolerant and prefers full sun. Propagation is usually done through seed, which should be sown in spring or summer in a well-drained, sandy soil. The seed should be lightly covered with soil and kept moist until germination occurs. Once established, the plant is low maintenance and requires only occasional watering.
