                        Description
                        
                            Gomphostigma virgatum (also called Wand-like Gomphostigma, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Australia. It grows in open woodlands and grasslands. It has small yellow flowers and long, thin, pointed leaves. The plant has a distinctively shaped seed pod that is covered in soft hairs and has a wand-like shape.

                            Gomphostigma virgatum is used as an ornamental plant in gardens. It has attractive foliage and flowers that attract bees and butterflies.
