                        Description
                        
                            Chamaecrypta diasciifolia (also called 'Sawtooth Cypress', among many other common names) is a small evergreen coniferous tree native to the southeastern United States. It has a pyramidal shape with a dense crown of foliage. It has small, scale-like leaves and reddish-brown bark. It is found in moist soils in open woods, along streams, and in swamps.
