Description
Schistochila baileyana (also called Bailey's Schistochila, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Lejeuneaceae. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It grows on moist rocks and soil in shaded areas, often in association with mosses.

Schistochila baileyana has small, white flowers with four petals, and its seeds are small and black. The seedlings have small, rounded leaves and a single stem.
