Description

Rodgersia sambucifolia (also called Elder-leaved Rodgersia, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to East Asia. It has a rosette of basal leaves and grows up to 1 m tall. Its leaves are pinnate, dark green in color and up to 30 cm long. The flowers are white and the fruits are achenes. It grows in wet meadows, riverbanks and marshes.
