                            Sarcosperma kachinense (also called Kachin Sarcosperma, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the family Melastomataceae. It is a small shrub with ovate leaves and white flowers. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of Australia and New Guinea, and is found in a variety of habitats, from dry to wet forests.
