Description

Chrysophyllum superbum (also called Superb Star Apple, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Sapotaceae family. It is native to tropical Africa, from Nigeria east to Ethiopia and south to Angola. It is a small tree or shrub, growing to 5–10 m tall. The leaves are alternate, simple, 5–12 cm long, with an entire margin.
