Description
Storthocalyx corymbosus (also called 'Corymbose Storthocalyx', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Zingiberaceae family. It is a rhizomatous perennial herb with a single, unbranched stem, reaching up to 1 m tall. It is native to Peru, and typically grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
