Cultivation and Propagation

Paullinia hemiptera is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach heights of up to 6 feet (1.8 m). It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is usually done by cuttings, which should be taken in the spring or summer. Cuttings should be taken from the tips of the stems and placed in a potting mix that is kept moist. It is also possible to propagate Paullinia hemiptera from seed, although this is not as reliable as cuttings.
