Description
Acer tschonoskii (also called the Tschonoski's maple, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to East Asia. It has an upright habit and can reach up to 25 meters in height. Its bark is smooth and grayish-brown in color. It is found in forests, open woodlands, and along streams in its native regions.

Cultivation and Propagation

Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer, after the last expected frosts. Cuttings of half-ripe wood, 5 - 8cm with a heel, July/August in a frame. Layering in late summer. Takes 1 year.
