Description

Acer pauciflorum (also called Japanese Maple, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to Japan and Korea. It has a rounded crown and ovate-lanceolate leaves with serrated margins. It grows in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. It is often found in forests, woodlands, and along riverbanks.
