Description
Viscum nepalense (also called 'Nepalese Mistletoe', among many other common names) is a species of parasitic plant found in the Northern Hemisphere. It is a small, evergreen shrub with small, white flowers and dark green leaves. It is native to Asia, and is commonly found in moist, shady habitats such as woodlands, meadows, and along streams and rivers.
Cultivation and Propagation
Viscum nepalense is a fast-growing, easy-to-care-for houseplant. It can be propagated through stem cuttings or division. To propagate through stem cuttings, cut a stem just below a node and remove the lower leaves. Place the cutting in a pot filled with moist soil and keep it in a warm, humid environment. To propagate through division, carefully separate the plant into two or more parts and replant each part in a separate pot. Water regularly and keep in a warm, humid environment.
