Description
Thesium brevibarbatum (also called Short-bearded Thesium, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant that grows up to 20 cm tall. It is native to Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, and is found in grassland, savanna, and scrubland habitats.
Cultivation and Propagation
Thesium brevibarbatum is a perennial herb that grows in moist soils in open grasslands, woodlands, and along roadsides. It can be propagated by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained soil mix and kept moist until germination. Division can be done in spring or autumn. The plant can be divided into several sections and each section replanted in a new location.
