Description
Santalum fernandezianum (also called Chilean sandalwood, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree native to Chile. It has a dense, spreading crown and grows to a height of 10 meters. Its leaves are lanceolate, obtuse, and up to 6 cm long. It is found in dry sclerophyll forests and woodlands, and in heathlands and sandplains.
