                            Salix pulchra (also called Beautiful Willow, Pacific Willow, and Pacific Purple Osier, among many other common names) is a small, deciduous shrub native to western North America.                             Salix pulchra is used for erosion control, as a windbreak, and for its ornamental value.                             Salix pulchra is a fast-growing shrub that can reach up to 10 feet in height. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Propagation is best done by cuttings in the spring or early summer. Plant the cuttings in a moist, well-drained soil and keep them in a bright, sunny location.
