Description
Salix olgae (also called Olga Willow, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or small tree, typically growing up to 10 m tall. It is native to Central Asia, and is commonly found in moist soils in valleys, along streams, and in other wet areas.

Salix olgae is used for making baskets, furniture, and fuel. It is also used for erosion control and as a windbreak.
