Description
                        
                            Salix erdingeri (also called Erdinger's Willow, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or tree, typically growing to 3–8 m (10–26 ft) tall. It is native to western Europe, from France east to Poland, south to northern Italy and west to Ireland. It is commonly found in wet habitats, such as streambanks, lake margins, and wet meadows.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Salix erdingeri is used for erosion control and as a windbreak.                             The flower of Salix erdingeri is small, yellowish-white, and has 5 petals. The seed is small, black, and oval-shaped. The seedlings are slender and have small, round leaves.

                            Salix erdingeri can be found in wet meadows, streambanks, and other moist areas in the northern United States and Canada.
