Description
Salix elbursensis (also called Elburz Willow, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or small tree, typically growing up to 10 m tall. It is native to Iran, and is commonly found in moist soils in valleys, along streams, and in other wet areas.

Salix elbursensis is used for making baskets, furniture, and fuel. It is also used for erosion control and as a windbreak.
