Description
Salix aberrans (also called 'Aberrant Willow', among many other common names) is a small deciduous tree found in temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. It has a single, broad, pointed leaf and a single, small, yellowish flower. It is found in moist, shady forests, often growing in rocky soils or on hillsides.

Salix aberrans has small, yellow flowers with five petals and a single pistil. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings have small, oval cotyledons.
