Description
Populus jrtyschensis (also called Jarty's Poplar, among many other common names) is a species of poplar native to China, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, and Thailand. It is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree, growing to 10–20 m tall, with a trunk up to 60 cm diameter. It grows in moist habitats, such as riverbanks, swamps, and lake shores.

Populus jrtyschensis is used for making furniture, paper, and plywood. It is also used for windbreaks and soil stabilization.
