                        Description
                        
                            Zanthoxylum kwangsiense (also called the Kwangsi Prickly-ash, among many other common names) is a shrub native to China. It has glossy, dark green leaves that are oval in shape and have a pointed tip. The plant grows in moist, shady areas, such as in forests and along streams.
