Pitavia punctata (also called 'Punctate Pitavia', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Apocynaceae. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 5 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, from Sudan to South Africa, and Madagascar. It grows in dry woodland, bushland and grassland.

Pitavia punctata is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 4 m in height. It is best grown in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Propagation is usually done by cuttings or layering. Cuttings should be taken from the current season’s growth and rooted in a mixture of peat and sand. Layering is done by bending a branch to the ground and covering it with soil. The branch will then root and can be cut off and transplanted.
