Description

Muiriantha hassellii (also called Scleranthopsis aphanantha, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae. It is an evergreen shrub, up to 1.5 m tall, with opposite, ovate leaves. It is native to tropical Africa, where it is found in wet, shady places. It is also found in India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands.
