Description

Melicope indica (also called Indian Devilwood, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree or shrub native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It grows up to 10 meters tall and has alternate, leathery leaves with toothed margins. The flowers are small and white, and the fruits are round and yellow. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in disturbed habitats.
