                            Comptonella sessilifoliola (also called sessile-leaved ginger, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Zingiberaceae family. It is a perennial herb that grows to a height of 0.5–1 m. It is native to Southeast Asia and is found in the tropical wet forests of India, Malaysia, and Thailand.
