Description
Chomelia sessilis (also called sessile chomelia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant native to the Seychelles. It is an evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves and small, white flowers. It typically grows in moist, shady areas, such as along streams and in woodlands.

Chomelia sessilis has small, yellow flowers that bloom in the spring. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are thin and green.
