                        Description
                        
                            Sorbus thuringiaca (also called Thuringian Whitebeam, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to Central Europe. It has an upright, spreading habit and its bark is grey and scaly. Its leaves are oval-shaped and have a white underside. It produces white flowers in the spring and red berries in the autumn. It is found in mountain forests and woodlands.

                            Sorbus thuringiaca is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks.                         Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
                        
                            Sorbus thuringiaca has white flowers that are borne in flat-topped clusters. The flowers are followed by small, round, red berries that ripen in late summer.
