                        Description
                        
                            Purshia ericifolia (also called Eric's Cliffrose, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub that grows up to 2 m tall. It is native to the western United States, where it is found in dry, open woodlands and chaparral. It has dark green, ovate leaves and small yellow flowers that bloom in the spring. The fruit is a small, red-purple, edible drupe.
