Description
Platycaulos acutus (also called Sharp-leaved gentian, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial with a stem up to 1 m tall. It is native to the Himalayas, from India to Bhutan, and is found in alpine meadows and grasslands at altitudes of 3,000-4,000 m. It prefers moist, well-drained soils.
