Description
Thalictrum occidentale (also called Western Meadow Rue, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the western United States and Canada. It has compound leaves and small white flowers. It prefers moist, shady habitats and can be found in meadows, forests, and along streams.

Thalictrum occidentale has small, white flowers with five petals and a yellow center. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have long, narrow leaves with a pointed tip.
