Description
Aconitum hebegynum (also called Hebegyn Aconite, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to China, Japan, and Korea. It typically grows in moist, shady habitats, such as forests and meadows, and has a height of up to 1.2 meters. Its leaves are deeply divided and its flowers are dark blue or purple.
Cultivation and Propagation
Aconitum hebegynum is a perennial herbaceous plant that prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Propagation is best done by division in the spring or fall. Seeds can also be sown in the spring or fall, but germination is slow and erratic.
