Pteris lepidopoda (also called scaly brake, among many other common names) is a species of fern in the family Pteridaceae. It is a small herb, growing up to 20 centimeters tall. It is native to Southeast Asia, from India to China and Japan. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
