Description
Haplopteris yakushimensis (also called Yakushima Haplopteris, among many other common names) is a type of fern native to Japan. It is an evergreen, terrestrial fern with lance-shaped leaves and a creeping rhizome. It grows in shady, moist habitats such as tropical rainforests, cloud forests, and montane forests.
