Description

Leucadendron album (also called White Conebush, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree with a single trunk, growing up to 3 m tall. It is native to the Western Cape of South Africa and is found in fynbos and renosterveld vegetation. It has grey-green, needle-like leaves and bright yellow, orange or pink flowers.

Leucadendron album is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a cut flower. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat headaches, colds and other ailments.
