Description

Buckinghamia ferruginiflora (also called Ironwood, among many other common names) is a small to medium-sized tree native to the rainforest of eastern Australia. It has a dense, rounded crown and rough bark that is mottled with patches of grey, white and yellow. Its leaves are long and narrow, and its flowers are white and fragrant. It grows in moist, sheltered areas and is often found in rainforest margins and gullies.
