Description

Collomia heterophylla (also called Variable-leaf Collomia, among many other common names) is an annual or biennial herb that grows up to 50 cm tall. It has a slender stem with an inflorescence of bright yellow flowers. It is native to western North America, from British Columbia to California and east to the Great Plains. It is found in dry, open areas such as grasslands, prairies, and open woodlands.
