Yushania suijiangensis has small, white flowers with yellow anthers. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are thin and have long, narrow leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Yushania suijiangensis is a perennial grass that grows in clumps and can reach a height of 2-3 feet. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Propagation is done by division of the clumps or by seed. Seeds should be sown in spring or early summer in a well-prepared seedbed.
